About Me
Clear. Practical. Beautiful. Purposeful.
These are my design values, and what I aim to bring into every team, product, and challenge I take on.

Working with me
I've always loved solving tricky, real-world problems and making the complex feel intuitive. I thrive when I can lead and design together, helping teams unlock creativity and enjoy the process along the way. Over the years, I've built and scaled design teams, mentored designers into senior roles, and led research and design projects across continents, always balancing craft with collaboration.
Rooted in visual communication design, I bring a deep appreciation for craft, clarity, and aesthetics to every interaction. My foundation in branding and visual systems has evolved into a broader practice - shaping intuitive, human-centered platforms across web, mobile, and emerging technologies. Whether I'm defining product strategy, designing interfaces, or refining microinteractions, I approach each challenge with empathy and intention.
With experience spanning startups, global enterprises, and design consultancies, I've learned to navigate complexity, align diverse stakeholders, and create work that resonates. I'm equally comfortable in the boardroom and in Figma, and I believe the best design happens when everyone's in the room together.

Beyond work
4 things about me
01
From Architecture to Design
I studied architecture and practiced for a year before leaping into interaction design. The last thing I built was a house for my parents in India, using vernacular materials and local craft.
02
"Where's Home?"
Born in India, studied in Germany, worked in Copenhagen and Princeton, now based in Munich. Each place shaped how I see design, and inspired me through its people, culture and stories.
03
Quiet, Intentional Design
I'm drawn to good typography, Japanese aesthetics, and the clarity of Muji (where I spend too much time). A trip to Japan a couple of years ago taught me to slow down and notice the small things.
04
How I Unwind
Cooking (I'm obsessed with a good Hyderabadi biryani). I also appreciate handmade / printed goods and constantly have a side project running where I'm illustrating Indian train locomotives or Munich subway stations or taking photos of buildings and making prints to sell on my Etsy shop. When I can, I escape to the mountains or lakes near Munich - or slow down to draw or explore the Deutsches Museum with my 2 year old.
